About

Laura Cerone

Hi there, my name is Laura and I am here to help you define your goals, create an action plan and tackle the challenges you might encounter along the way.
I am a Leadership Coach on a mission to help managers and teams to express their full potential, improve performance and achieve fulfillment.
I firmly believe that every person is unique, has a unique vision of what makes their life worth living and can have a unique impact on the lives of the people around them.
My job is to accompany my clients on a journey of discovery that will allow them to understand themselves better and, thanks to that, will empower them to implement their vision and give their most authentic contribution to the world.

When I was growing up, I often found myself surrounded by people who approached life with a fearful and pessimistic outlook, people who didn’t believe in the possibility for things to go well or for themselves and others to grow and create positive change.

In those circumstances, I felt like an alien.

To me, change is not only possible but necessary, progress and growth are at the core of human existence and people who go through challenging times can overcome obstacles and difficulties and become a new, more resilient version of themselves.

This is why many years ago I decided to become a psychologist and, more recently, why I embraced coaching to support others in developing self-awareness, achieving their goals and expressing their full potential.

I like to think that everything I did in my past contributed, in a way, to bring me closer to coaching.

After graduating in Psychology in Rome, I worked as a school counsellor providing psychological and educational support to teachers, children and their families. Without knowing it, at the time I was already using core coaching skills to help people set realistic but empowering goals for their future.

Then, when I moved to London, the second big chapter of my career began. In London I worked as a marketing executive and started gaining experience of the many challenges managers face. Most importantly, I observed how their behaviour in response to those challenges impacted not only their performance, but the performance of the people around them and of the entire business.

That’s when I started seeing coaching in my future. My passion for listening to others and helping them become more fulfilled and satisfied with their life had resurfaced.

Since then, I never stopped studying and practicing coaching. In 2018 I earned my Diploma in Cognitive Coaching and Mentoring with the Institute of Counselling in Glasgow, and in 2021 I graduated in Personal, Leadership and Executive Coaching with the Kingstown College in Dublin.

Barcelona is the last stop of my journey…for now. Here I found a great place to call home, full of light and warmth.

Open mindedness and respect for everyone’s dignity, story and personal identity are my main values.

Empathy, helpfulness and fulfillment are keywords that define my way of being and working.

Growth and change are at the center of my vision and mission, both personal and professional.

I love traveling, embracing new perspectives and learning new languages. In addition to my native language, Italian, I speak English and Spanish fluently.

I love walking in nature, listening to music and watching documentaries. I am a very curious person, with a strong love of learning.

If you too believe in creating positive change and would like to embark on an exciting journey that will bring you growth and fulfillment, get in touch!
